Getting a hug from a basketball legend isn’t as cool as you might expect.
When someone doesn’t have enough clout to brag about themselves they sometimes have to brag about a guy that they know. In one notable brag-off, one of the duelists pulled out a factoid about his cousin getting a hug from Patrick Ewing. Given their height difference, the cousin just got his head in Patrick’s crotch. That happening to his cousin cemented his claim to coolness.
